- 2 3/4 cups (345g) all-purpose flour (plain flour)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup (230g) butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups (330g) granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 drops of green food coloring
- 1 cup (168g) chocolate chips

- Preheat the oven to 375ºF/190ºC.

Combine the dry ingredients in a small bowl.

Add and thoroughly mix the food coloring, egg, and vanilla.
